A Science Teacher's Assessment

"We visited the Mercan Science Center with my students and had a wonderful day. We took a pleasant journey into the depths of space in the planetarium, and thanks to the science exhibits, we experienced the topics we covered in physics and chemistry classes in a practical way. The experiments and projects in the workshops developed my students' scientific thinking skills. We thank Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mr. Vahap Seçer, who brought such a modern and well-equipped science center to Mersin. This investment in education is an investment in our future!"

A Parent's Feedback

"We visited the Mercan Science Center with our children and were very impressed! Can science be this much fun? Watching the sky at the observatory, making our own invention in the workshops, and learning about eco-friendly energy sources was wonderful. As soon as my children returned home, they started asking 'When are we going again?' Having such a center in Mersin is a great opportunity!"

5th Grade Student's Comment

"Today was one of the best days of my life! It was amazing to see the stars in the sky up close in the planetarium. The thing I liked most was the workshop where I could design my own rocket. Science is really fun! Next time I'll bring my friends too."

An Elementary School Teacher's Comment

"When we came to the Mercan Science Center with my students, we had both an educational and interactive experience. Especially, my students' direct interaction with science exhibits increased their curiosity for discovery. Seeing that science education is not just about books created a great awareness for students. Thank you, Mercan Science Center!"
