Through education and awareness programs, we provide knowledge and sensitivity about climate and environment to children, youth, and adults, fostering a love for science through interactive experiments and activities, and nurturing future environmental leaders.

Science centers are interactive facilities that inform, educate and inspire curiosity about science and technology topics. These centers provide opportunities for both children and adults to explore the fun and educational aspects of science through various exhibitions, events and workshops.
The 'Mercan 100th Year Climate and Environment Science Center', which started to serve under the Climate Change and Zero Waste Department of Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, was presented to young people and children, who are our future, in the 100th year of the Republic, under the leadership of Mersin Metropolitan Mayor Vahap Se?er. Our center is equipped with climate and environmental themed education and activities with the aim of gaining environmental awareness at an early age.
Mercan 100th Year Climate and Environment Science Center is an education and research center that aims to increase interest in science and technology, develop environmental awareness and create awareness on sustainability issues.
As Mercan 100th Year Climate and Environment Science Center, we aim to enable our children and young people, who are our future, to meet with science and become conscious for a sustainable world. Based on the sensitivity of Mersin Metropolitan Municipality on environment and climate, we continue our work uninterruptedly for a greener and more livable future. In our facilities equipped with modern technology, we aim to raise awareness of the society and contribute to a sustainable future by sharing the most up-to-date information on climate change and environmental protection.
We invite all our visitors to our center to strengthen our hopes and goals for the future with science. We are very happy to bring individuals of all ages together with science on this path we set out to instill environmental awareness in our children and young people and to support their contributions for a sustainable world.

In this period when climate change and environmental problems are becoming increasingly critical on a global scale, we are proud to take a big step together with you, reminding once again our responsibility for the future of our cities. As Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, we continue to implement innovative projects for an environmentally sensitive and sustainable future. In this context, I am very happy to present the 'Mercan 100th Year Climate and Environment Science Center', which is Mersin's first and most comprehensive environmental science center, to your service.
Mercan 100th Year Climate and Environment Science Center is designed to increase environmental awareness, combat climate change and promote sustainable living practices. Our center aims to inform and raise awareness of the society through scientific research, educational programs, exhibitions and various activities.
In the fight against climate change, we have taken an important step towards protecting the future of Mersin and all humanity, with the power of science and technology. The work we will do here will set an example not only for our city center, but also for the entire region and will increase our sensitivity to the environment.
All kinds of activities to be carried out in this center will be shaped with the understanding of common mind and cooperation; It will be further strengthened by the contributions of you, our valuable Mersin citizens. I have no doubt that together, we will work day and night to achieve our goal of making Mersin an environmentally friendly, livable city.
